Meet the Founders: Leo & Reynold

Founders Leo and Reynold have been friends for over 10 years, sharing a passion for healthcare. Initially, optometry wasn’t at the forefront of their minds (they were encouraged to pursue medicine!), but they followed their hearts and never looked back. After completing their optometry degrees, they gained experience across both corporate and independent optometry settings—working in schools, shelters and communities across NSW, from Wollongong to Byron Bay.

Observing how different practices operated, they decided to open Penshurst Eyecare, a clinic where they could provide care their way—with a focus on patient education, cutting-edge technology, and a personalised approach.
